EPISODE 2
RISE OF THE EMPIRE
A Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
It has been ten years since the invasion at Naboo. The galaxy has relatively been at peace, but corruption still fills the walls of the Senate on Coruscant. With so many Senators and hundreds of politicians from so many worlds, corruption has taken a hold of many honest leaders.
Seeking to expand their power, many Senators have endeavoured to form new alliances with new worlds and new alien species. One such world, Concord Dawn, home to the Mandalorian people, is attempting to sway one leader who controls many politicians from the shadows.
This leader is now en route to the Mandalorian world with a special envoy, Journeyman Protector Jaster Mereel to establish a new post for the Federation to exchange trade for cloning technology.
1ST SCENE: SPACE
A sea of stars fills the screen as we pan down to a dark planet, which appears to have no continent, water, or vegetation-the planet is dead. Suddenly, a shuttle crosses the screen, a small sleek craft carrying an important cargo, the future! The craft has 3 wings, two pointing downwards from the side, and a wing directly up from its centre base.
2ND SCENE: THE SHIPS COCKPIT
Inside the ship, we see the pilots, two humanoid males in a serious mode- their cargo is obviously very important. Through the pilot’s viewpoint we see a shipyard in orbit above the planet- three mammoth new Destroyer style ships are in the midst of construction in giant drifting platforms. They are only half completed as we can see through the shell of their hulls. The pilot signals on his comlink.
PILOT
Shuttle Tidoria to Mandalore Destroyer. Seeking clearance to land in Spacedock 8
Over the comlink we hear his response by a dark sinister voice
DOCKING PILOT
Permission granted for Shuttle Tidoria to land in Spacedock 8. The Ambassadors are awaiting the Lords presence.
3RD SCENE: CHAMBER ROOM ON THE SHIP OVERLOOKING THE CONSTRUCTION
A Lieutenant stands before a slimy looking pirate alien overlooking the construction of the Star Destroyers. He is Kuat of Kuat, the overseer of the Kuat Drive Yards. The camera pans around from behind Kuats chair so we cannot see his face, to the window and the shipyard beyond.
KUAT OF KUAT
Are you sure you want to form an alliance with this Rooupa?
LIEUTENANT
He will strengthen our power in this sector to unlimited means
KUAT OF KUAT
Ha ha ha (thunderous laugh-he strokes his large ugly lion type pet called a
Felinx-the camera pulls out to the destroyer, then back on his face) We shall

4TH SCENE: SPACE
The shuttle soars to meet the great ship. The pilots fly the ship into the giant cargo hold of the menacing vessel and land. Hundreds of soldiers in red armour stand at attention as the shuttle lands. They are the Mandalorian troops, soldiers from the planet Concord Dawn. They each carry a double-edged metal sword as well as blasters hooked to their belts. Their faces and whole body is covered in armour. As the shuttle lands, fumes pore out from its engines as the landing walkway is opened before the giant armada of troops. A menacing figure in a black cloak descends the ramp followed by another familiar figure, and is greeted by the Lieutenant of the Mandalorian army.
LIEUTENANT
My lord we are honoured by your presence. Welcome to the Kuat Drive Yards of Concord Dawn. We hope our envoy has served you well.

The lieutenant acknowledges Jaster Mereel, Journeyman Protector to Concord Dawn. He wears the armour of the Mandalorian warriors, but the colour is different. Darth Sidious looks back at him.
DARTH SIDIOUS
He has been sufficient. (Turns to face the Lieutenant) The Cloning Technology you seek is on the planet Alderaan. I will lead your troops in its destruction. Then we will destroy the Jedi.
LIEUTENANT
The Mandalorian army is at your command, my Lord.
5TH SCENE MATCH DISSOLVE TO-NABOO OCEAN CLIFFS
We see a figure from behind as he is running along the towering cliffs of Naboo along its great ocean. The cliffs rise hundreds of feet from the ocean floor to fertile grasslands. Along the base of the cliffs are huge rock formations that bear the brunt of the large waves. The figure is a young man in his late teens and in obviously good shape with short hair and a braid running down his back. He runs down the side of the cliff where it is not too steep and does somersaults from one great rock at the basin of the cliff to another rock with tremendous skill. He is obviously well endowed with the force. He climbs the cliff face again and reaches the top where he comes to another man whose face we cannot see-his face is turned away. As the young man approaches, he turns to acknowledge him. We see a middle aged man with a light beard, wearing a brown cloak; his face almost expressionless with just a hint of a smile
OBI-WAN KENOBI
Your training is proceeding well my young Padawan
ANAKIN SKYWALKER
Thank you Master
OBI-WAN KENOBI
But you still need more training.
As he speaks, Obi-Wan suddenly pulls out Qui-Gons green coloured lightsaber to strike at the young Jedi. Anakin quickly responds with his blue coloured lightsaber in defence to Obi-Wans blow. He smiles with a bit of a smirk to his Jedi trainer. In jest he responds
ANAKIN
Not bad for a young man?
They continue their lightsaber duel trading blows at an intense pace, They fight at a sharp intensity as if they were enemies locked in an ancient duel for days. The duel proceeds down the cliff face to the base as giant waves of water crash into the rocks. Anakin leaps from rock to rock as Obi-Wan drives him back, They trade blows in mid air as they somersault form rock to rock, when all of a sudden, Obi-Wan knocks Anakins lightsaber from his hand. Anakin looks disappointed as it falls into the ocean.
ANAKIN
MasterIt is lost. Now Ill never get it back.
OBI-WAN
So certain you are. The force is in you Anakin with more intensity than any other Jedi. Your ally is the Force. It flows through you, through the air, the rocks, the ocean water. Call your lightsaber to you.
ANAKIN
OBI-WAN
Do or do not, There is no try.
6TH SCENE: BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN
We see Anakins lightsaber at the bottom of the ocean. Upwards through the water we see Anakin reach out with his hand-with the Force as he calls his lightsaber to him. Slowly the lightsaber wiggles then stops. Anakins face changes as he uses more intensity to call his lightsaber. In the ocean sand we see the blade handle moving again. Slowly it drifts upward through hundreds of feet of water. Music swells as we see Anakin concentrating on the blade, calling it to him. The blade soars out of the ocean into his hand as Obi-Wan smiles in amazement.
OBI-WAN
Well done, my young Padawan.
ANAKIN
Am I ready to be a Jedi, Master?
OBI-WAN
Patience, Qui-Gonn told you did he not, that being a Jedi is a life of
service to the force?
ANAKIN
Yes he did master. (He pauses) I am eager to rescue my mother from slavery, Master. I cannot do it alone until I am a Jedi
OBI-WAN- (with a worried expression)
The future is not written, Anakin. You must forget the past. Your fear for your mothers fate could release your anger and lead you to the dark side of the force. When the time is right, you will know what to do. Your training can only be completed at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. When matters are done with Naboo, I will bring you there.
7TH SCENE: NABOO PALACE CASTLE
Queen Amidala is in her council room meeting with Sio Bibble and her advisors, Captain Panaka, and Ric Olie. She is older, more poised, and has become a strong young woman in her stature. Her handmaidens, R2D2, and a couple other people are also present. They are in the midst of a heated discussion
SIO BIBBLE
The Trade Federation has been disbanded, your majesty, but we must be wary of new enemies from the outer rim. Battle droids may be illegal, but there are now other worries. So may alien species control the Senate now through sheer numbers and trade alliances. We cannot defend ourselves to such large numbers if we are attacked. There are even rumours that cloning technology has been perfected in the outer rim
CAPTAIN PANAKA
If so, your highness, each alien world could harvest an endless armada and could take over and control this sector.
AMIDALA
Without any proof these are just rumours, Captain. President Palpatine is controlling the alien senators through just treaties. He will curve the greed and corruption in the Senate.
SIO BIBBLE
The only world now exploring cloning technology is Alderaan, your Highness. Perhaps their scientists have leaked the technology
to another world for more trade alliances.
AMIDALA
I refuse to believe Senator Antilles has sold this technology to maintain peace on his world and avoid alien invasion, sir.
Alderaan is our closest ally. If there is any doubt of Senator Antilles government, then I will question it.
I will travel to Alderaan and meet with Bail Antilles and his government.
As Queen Amidala is talking, two Jedi are approaching form down the long corridor. They reach the council room and enter.
AMIDALA
Welcome, Jedi.
Anakin and Obi-Wan both bow before the Queen, each smirking a little in jest. The Queen hints at a smile back to both of them.
SIO BIBBLE
We could take a new route to Alderaan, so to make the journey more secretive
The advisors continue to talk as Amidala looks on. Anakin has his eyes transfixed on the Queen. Obi-Wan has joined the advisors discussion. Anakin looks at the Queens dress and notices the elaborate headpiece that has light feathers on the side of her cheeks. Anakin motions his hand and uses the force to ruffle Padames cheek with the feathers from her outfit. She inconspicuously scratches her cheek, not noticing Anakins smile at his little prank. He proceeds to do so again-this time she notices him and at first gives him a motherly scowl, then gently smiles after looking Anakin in the eyes. The councillors are all oblivious to this action.
CAPTAIN PANAKA
We will make all the arrangements, your Highness. The journey to Alderaan will be without incident. I am sure Bail Antilles will provide a secure and welcome reception.
The advisors leave. Obi-Wan nods at Anakin and bows to the Queen as he leaves. Amidala, R2D2, and Anakin stay. She begins to scold him in jest.
AMIDALA
How could you do that? It was embarrassing!
ANAKIN
Oh, come on. Nobody noticed. You look so uptight when youre in council anyway.
She looks back at him with her mouth open in amazement.
AMIDALA
Uptight?
ANAKIN
I just wanted to get a rise out of you. There is a real human being in there, isnt there?
AMIDALA
Yes, there is. You mean you’re never that serious in your Jedi
training? There are so many situations in government that have to be addressed. Some things are just important and serious, Annie.
ANAKIN
Anakin!
AMIDALA (in jest)
Im sorry! Lord Protector and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker!
ANAKIN (seriously)
Im not a Jedi yet. Ok, Ok- I wont bother you when youre in serious meeting anymore
AMIDALA
..And I wont say anything more about Jedi torture training!
Lets shake on it.
They shake hands. They start to walk together to the large balcony overlooking the great city of Naboo. R2D2 follows behind them.
AMIDALA
How is your training going anyway?
ANAKIN
Well, but it is only preliminary training. Master Obi-Wan wants to take me to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to train with my Jedi brothers, but I would have to leave for a while.
She looks at him, a bit concerned. She tries not to show it.
AMIDALA
You will be a Jedi, Anakin. You must follow your Masters advice.
(She pauses-looks over at him, smiles a little, then says in jest) If your Master told you to jump in the lake, you would have to do it,
hmm?
Anakin laughs, She smiles.
ANAKIN
Yes, I guess I would have to. But he wouldnt do so as a prank.
AMIDALA
I could order him to play a prank on you. What do you think, R2D2?
R2D2 beeps-he has been walking behind them all along
ANAKIN
Hmmm
8TH SCENE: JEDI COUNCIL-NIGHT
We see all 12 council members in session. In the centre ring we see Obi-Wan as a hologram-He is in the midst of addressing the council and facing towards mace Windu and Yoda.
OBI-WAN
I will bring Anakin to Coruscant to complete his training, Master Yoda, but first we must accompany Queen Amidala safely to Alderaan.
MACE WINDU
He must be brought here. He is growing strong in the force.
You must attempt to resolve the other issue on Alderaan.
An alien/humanoid war fought by clones can be avoided.
The transmission ends. The Jedis are in discussion amongst themselves. Ki-Adi-Mundi faces Yoda inquisitively:
KI-ADI-MUNDI
But how can we make Anakin the youngest Jedi on the council
when he is not even a Jedi yet?
YODA
He is not ready. He is young, reckless. I still sense fear in him.
His concern for his mothers fate, destroy him it will
MACE WINDU
Other matters are becoming more important. The future is in motion.
ADI GALLIA
Trouble is ahead, Master Yoda. The intensifying hatred between
aliens and humanoid is reaching a dangerous level. The Ord Mandel smugglers could take advantage of this new cloning technology through the slave trade.
DEPA BILLABA (towards Mace Windu)
When you rescued me from space pirates, Master Windu, the spice trade was not the currency of the universe. I foresee great turmoil in this cloning issue
9TH SCENE: SPACE.
We see the Queens ship soar through space and come upon the planet Alderaan. Alderaan is a large world that has been at peace for a number of years. They have renounced weapons which leaves them vulnerable, but they are expert negotiators.
Inside the cockpit Ric Olie is seeking permission to land. Ric Olie is looking visibly older from the last time we saw him
RIC OLIE
Seeking permission on land on city docking platform 1138V. We have submitted the clearance codes supplied by Senator Bail Antilles.
LANDING PLATFORM PILOT
Permission granted. Maintain heading to sector 348 where you will be welcomed.
The Queens shuttle enters the atmosphere and lands in the midst of a celebration. It is a welcome celebration for the arrival of the Queen of Naboo! Diplomats and soldiers are lined and standing at attention as the Queens ship touches down. The main city is huge. Large dome like buildings and castles are present as well as some floating buildings in the lower atmosphere, similar to Bespin. The walkway is opened and the Queen exits the craft followed by her handmaidens, Obi-wan, Anakin, Ric Olie, Panaka, Sio Bibble and R2D2. Several diplomats motion to greet her, led by their leader, Senator Antilles.

Welcome to Alderaan, your Highness. We are most honoured by your visit.
QUEEN AMIDALA
Thank you, Senator Bail Organa, or do you prefer Senator Bail Antilles?
BAIL ANTILLES
A mere formality, your Highness. Organa is my royal title on this world, but both are used equally here. Please address me as you wish.
We have organized a special celebration in your honour, your Highness! In the meantime, let me presents my governors: Governor Sekufor, President Wexlel, and my son, Colton, representing our air cadets.
QUEEN AMIDALA
It is an honour to meet you. Allow me to introduce Captain Panaka, Sio Bibble, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker.
BAIL ANTILLES
Ah, yes! The hero of Naboo. (Smiles at Anakin-Padme also glances at him and smiles a bit). Please follow me. I will take you on a short tour of our capital, Aldera.
Bail Organa of the Royal House of Alderaan leads the group onto a giant flying platform, an escort skiff, which takes off and makes its way through the city. The main capital has numerous silver coloured buildings. The city is surrounded by a lake. Bail Antilles motions to his guests.
BAIL ANTILLES
As you can see your Highness, Aldera is a city of peace. We do have weapons, but we have tried to maintain peace in this time. Our University stresses the arts, music and cultural studies. We have tried to work with our environments and not disrupt nature. (The ship flies over a canyon, which has quarters, built into the sides.) We have constructed our buildings into the side face of our giant canyons. (The escort skiff comes upon a grand palace) Here we are your Highness- the palace of the Organa house!
The skiff proceeds to a giant palace and lands on its top floor. The diplomats get off and proceed downward into the castle. Antilles leads them toward the residence area. He leads the entourage through an elaborate castle adorned with fine tapestries. The ceilings rise a hundred feet above the ground with golden and silver decoration lining the walls. Antilles proceeds to show the entourage their quarters
BAIL ANTILLES
We have set up elaborate quarters for you, your Highness! I hope they will be sufficient. In addition, there are quarters for your Jedi companions and governors. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is a problem with your quarters. It has been too long since we have had a royal queen from another world here!
Antilles motions inside the rooms

Tonight, your Highness, we have set up a celebration in your honour! Musicians, poets, and artists have come together to welcome you!
QUEEN AMIDALA
We are most grateful Senator. You have been most gracious. We would be honoured to attend the celebration.
BAIL ANTILLES
Thank you your Highness. I will come by to accompany you to the celebration in 2 hours. Until then?
QUEEN AMIDALA
Thank you Senator.
Antilles and his entourage leave. Anakin moves close to whisper something in Amidalas ear.
ANAKIN
Very diplomatic, hmmm?
Amidala looks at him with a motherly scolding expression.
10TH SCENE: CASTLE INTERIOR-MAIN THRONE ROOM-NIGHT
A large celebration with music and dancers has begun! Both delegations are at the head altar of the room watching the dancers and music. This throne room is beyond elaborate. Chandeliers, golden sculptures, and ornate paintings fill the walls. At each corner a grand staircase leads to the grand central altar. At the top of the central altar is a poet. The camera pulls onto Obi-Wan. He looks a little concerned as he stands behind the delegation. Anakin notices his trepidation.
ANAKIN
Is everything okay, Master?
OBI-WAN
Yes, my Padawan. It is difficult to guard the Queen in such large surroundings. We must be careful.
During their conversation, a poet (Bono from U2) has taken centre stage and is reciting one of his poems. He has white hair and a long beard, and wears a black robe like a priest. The audience is quiet and enraptured.
POET (looking right at Anakin)
To fall on the blessed. He shall be the saviour to
Bail Antilles leans toward the Queen.
BAIL ANTILLES
He is the most famous artist on the planet, Queen Amidala!
AMIDALA (smiles)
He is quite good.
POET (points to Anakin-talking intensely)
He will be trained as a Saviour, but will turn to the Evil seed, and will destroy the Planet of Peace for his own means!
Anakin stares at him blindly. Obi-Wan looks concerned again. The Poet stops and the music celebration continues-the past moments of tension have dissolved. A music band comprised of aliens and humanoids plays some relaxing secular music with a choir and some "oriental" style instruments accompanying them. All the leaders have relaxed. Close-up on Anakins face.
11TH SCENE BALCONY: ALDERAAN PALACE NIGHT.
Obi-Wan walks out onto a large balcony overlooking the city at sunset. In the distance he sees smaller cities in the air and mining operations towers floating high above the planet. Anakin walks in from the room behind and stands beside him.
ANAKIN
It is a beautiful planet, is it not?
OBI-WAN
Yes, it is, my apprentice.
ANAKIN
I fear it will not remain this way for long.
OBI-WAN
You are right, Anakin. I have foreseen a terrible battle that will take place here in which the Jedi will be involved.
ANAKIN
I sense darkness in the near future, yet I also see peace here?
OBI-WAN
Alderaan will be tested in the near future, Anakin. So shall we. (He looks Anakin in the eye)
ANAKIN
I still want to go back to Tatooine.
OBI-WAN
Qui-Gon sensed this fear in you. Master Yoda knew right away the power of the dark side that you hold back. You must learn control Anakin.
ANAKIN
Learning control has nothing to do with an old woman enslaved on a miserable planet when her son is running around accompanying diplomats! I have the power to rescue her, yet still I let her remain there by not doing anything about it. What good are my Jedi abilities if not to help people who cannot help themselves?
Anakin walks away. Obi-Wan continues to look out to the city.
OBI-WAN (talking to himself)
Why didnt you tell me training a Jedi is difficult Master?
Suddenly, Qui-Gon appears in ghost form behind him.
QUI-GON
Nothing is easy, Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan looks around and sees his old master
QUI-GON
I remember you gave me some difficulties about taking on young Skywalker.
ANAKIN
He cannot control his fear. I sense I am starting to lose him.
QUI-GON
Yes. Matters are at a crossroads in the force Obi-Wan. There are dark times ahead for the galaxy, as well as for all Jedi.
OBI-WAN
The future is always in motion. Thats what Master Yoda said.
Qui-Gon puts his hand on Obi-Wans shoulder.
QUI-GON
The force will take care of us Obi-Wan. Matters are not resolved for me. The force has made me present to you in order to guide you in these matters. When balance is brought, I shall be gone.
12TH SCENE: ALDERAAN OUTDOORS
Next Day-Bright beautiful day on Alderaan. Birds and flowers in bloom.
13TH SCENE: CASTLE MEETING ROOM
All the diplomats from both worlds enter a secure throne room to discuss the current crisis in the Senate. The poet is with the Alderaan delegation. As they walk into the room, he taps Anakin on the shoulder.
POET
Will you destroy the Planet of Peace for your own means, young Jedi?
Anakin looks at him puzzled and proceeds to follow Obi-Wan and the Naboo delegation to their seats in the council room.
BAIL ANTILLES
No one knows about this cloning technology, your Highness.
Our scientists have not yet perfected the technology due to problems in the DNA recombination sequencing.
AMIDALA
Be wary, Senator. Alien worlds have become the majority in the Senate. If word of this technology spreads, it will start an alien/humanoid war that will never cease.
14TH SCENE: SENATE FLOOR-CORUSCANT
We find ourselves in the midst of a heated debate. A few alien council members are complaining to the sitting president who seems distant and uncaring of their needs. Yells and cries from other alien Senators can be heard in the background.
ALIEN SENATOR
The Power and Transport Guilds have raised the cost of hyperspace travel and trade to insane amounts! The Hyperspace wars should have solved this conflict over travel!
ANOTHER ALIEN SENATOR
Elections are all rigged!!!!
Some screams of agreement can be heard.
SITTING PRESIDENT
Order! Order! President (more cries)Order! President Palpatine is away on a mission for the Republic! He will be happy to address your concerns
ALIEN SENATOR
There are too many representatives from humanoid worlds in this Senate, sir! Humanoids make up less than 40% of the population yet have 52% of the seats in this house, Can you explain that, sir?
Yells and cries from the alien Senators intensify.
ANOTHER ALIEN SENATOR (yelling)
Aliens are treated subversively to the human Senators!!
Cries of "racism" and "Down with humans" can be heard even louder now.
15TH SCENE ALDERAAN MEETING
BAIL ANTILLES
I assure you, your Highness, that if there is any protest about this we will settle it peacefully, but
Captain Panaka and an Alderaan guard run into the room.
PANAKA
Were under attack!
16TH SCENEALDERAAN SKY
Suddenly, Tie Fighter style ships enter the Alderaan atmosphere and begin to fire on the planet, blowing up several buildings. In orbit above the planet we see two completed Star Destroyers also firing giant missiles downward into the planet. Tie fighter ships are departing from its docking bay.
17TH SCENE: ALDERAAN DOCKING BAY
On the planet we see Colton Antilles in the Alderaan docking bay. Frantic pilots are racing to their cockpits. Behind them we see Anakin and Obi-Wan running to assist the pilots. They both find and board the solo Alderaan ships.
COLTON ANTILLES
Get to your ships! Beta squadron, youre with me!
The ships fly out the base to meet the Mandalorian force of Tie-Fighters!
18TH SCEN: COUNCIL ROOM
The guards are rushing Bail Antilles and the Queen to safety. They all enter a new room, which is secured by heavy steel doors. In the middle of the room is a roundtable, which Antilles turns on to, monitoring the battle.
BAIL ANTILLES
Well be able to watch from here your Highness
19TH SCENE: BATTLE SCENE IN THE ALDERAAN ATMOSPHERE
Dozens of Tie-Fighters are engaging the smaller Alderaan fleet. Although outnumbered, the Alderaan ships are fighting well and destroying several Mandalore ships.
20TH SCENE: EXT-ALDERAAN CLONING CHAMBER/FACILITY.
Two Mandalorian ships land near the facility, which is far away from the palace and the battle. Jaster Mereel now wears the armour of the Mandalorian warriors and has assumed his new identity-Boba Fett! Boba Fett and two other guards silently exit their ships and break into the facility. They open a door to the main lab, kill the 3 guards and place grenade bombs on a steel door. As the door blows up they enter and steel computer pads and a couple boxes that look like data storage. Boba Fett moves up to a huge computer terminal and places a pad into one of the empty sockets. We can see the refection of the screen on the black eye mirror of Boba Fetts Helmet. He quickly pulls out the disk pad. Moving like stealth figures, they exit the building, killing a couple guards on the way out. They board their ships and head for the Star Destroyer in orbit above the planet. In his ship, Slave 1, Boba Fett signals on his comlink. As he does so, we hear the voice of Darth Sidious
DARTH SIDIOUS

BOBA FETT

21ST SCENE STAR DESTROYER MAIN BRIDGE
Darth Sidious is overlooking the battle from the bridge of the large vessel. Windows overlooking the battle surround the room. A Number of Mandalorian generals are on the bridge coordinating the battle. Through the front windows we can see ships flying by and explosions of Tie-Fighters. Darth Sidious points to the Mandalorian general-

The deck officer responds and signals the retreat over the comm. see Mandalorian Tie-Fighters returning to the hangar, and the Destroyer pulling away from the planet. Some Alderaan ships pursue, but they are weakened and decide to return to the planet.
22ND SCENE: ALDERAAN BATTLE ROOM.
Antilles is shocked by the retreat.
ANTILLES
I dont get it. Why did they retreat so quickly? They had us.
AMIDALA
Maybe they didnt want this planet but something that was on this planet.
Suddenly an emergency beacon lights up. Bail Antilles is quick to respond to the other voice on the comlink.
GENERAL
Senator Antilles, sir! Our cloning facility has been attacked! The technology has been stolen.
BAIL ANTILLES (his expression falls in shock)
My, God. They have it.
CAPTAIN PANAKA
And so will any other race that can afford to pay for it.
R2D2 beeps a sad sound.
BAIL ANTILLES
Who were they? What planet were they from?
CAPTAIN PANAKA
Concord Dawn, sir. They are the Mandalorians. There have been rumours that they are a secret army of cunning warriors who wear full body armour to hide the genetic degradation of their species. These rumours have been floating around but we believed their world to be too far away to pose any immediate threat.
AMIDALA
They pose one now.
23RD SCENE: SENATE ON CORUSCANT
News of the attack on Alderaan has already reached the Senate, as well as their experiments with cloning technology.
ALIEN SENATOR
.When were they going to tell us they had cloning technology? After they had perfected it and cloned millions of troops to destroy us?
Numerous alien Senators are screaming in agreement.
SITTING PRESIDENT
I can assure you, the Alderaan people meant to use this technology only for medical reasons, not for reasons of power. They are a peaceful world!
Suddenly, a humanoid Senator calls to be heard. Alien protests and shouts almost cover up any discussion
SITTING PRESIDENT
The President acknowledges Garm Bel Iblis, the Senator from Corellia!
Garm Bel Iblis, a fat humanoid with a moustache, long sideburns, short hair and a balding hair line proceeds to stand and address the Senate. He wears a fur like tunic, brown pants and black boots. Beside him, two male advisors wear similar outfits. They are assistants to the Corillian government. One young male of 25 years of age sits beside an older Corillian with white hair. The younger assistant is obviously in training under the older gentleman who looks wise beyond his years. Garm Bel Iblis, the scoundrel of Corellia makes his stand to speak.
GARM BEL IBLIS
Mister President, my fellow Senators. I am sure this is true but what the citizens of Corellia worry about is the profit share from this cloning technology. If it remains in the hands of only one world, they will earn unlimited wealth.
More cries from the aliens. Camera pans on two Wookie Senators growling.
GARM BEL IBLIS
Are they willing to share some of this profit to other worlds, such as in more spice trading? (Even more cries against the humanoid Senators) Its not an unreasonable request.
President Palpatine enters the arena and takes his spot from the sitting President who obviously looks dishevelled. His royal blue guards accompany him.
PALPATINE
We must stop this bickering. As my colleague has already stated, this technology is only meant for medical reasons. The President will make sure of it.
ALIEN SENATOR
I think you accept their reasons too easily, President Palpatine! Maybe a new leader would be more suspicious!
Many cries of "no" come from both human and alien Senators. Palpatine controls obviously many of these Senators. They are quick to defend him.
GARM BEL IBLIS
(Talking to the alien Senator)
And exactly how did you come to power, Senator. You only had 13% of the population of your world vote for you! What happened to the other 87%!
ALIEN SENATOR

He walks out of the chambers as the cries and yells from the Aliens fade behind him
24TH SCENE: CORUSCANT NIGHT
We see the beautiful skyline of Coruscant at night.
25TH SCENE: BEDROOM OF ALIEN SENATORS
The alien Senators who caused all the arguments in the Senate are asleep in their chambers. Suddenly we see a figure in the shadows quietly approach them. The camera pans to show their bodyguards dead on the floor. The figure is Boba Fett! He approaches them then holds out his right hand to shoot something from his wrist. The Aliens are dead. The camera closes up on Boba Fett’s face, and almost seems to peer through the emotionless helmet.
26TH SCENE ALDERAAN DAY
Queen Amidalas quarters on Alderaan. Obi-Wan, Anakin, her advisors, handmaidens and R2D2 are present.
CAPTAIN PANAKA
We must return to Coruscant, your Highness. News from the Senate is that many Alien worlds are outraged about the cloning facilities on Alderaan.
SIO BIBBLE
Now with this news of two assassinations last night, the Senators will be screaming for blood. We must be present to make a strong stand for justice and a peaceful resolution of this matter.
OBI-WAN
There are too many crooked politicians in the Senate and too many Alien races are treated unfairly by humanoid races.
Anakin and Padme look at each other with a worried expression on their faces.
AMIDALA
We will go to Coruscant and attempt to resolve this matter peacefully.
27TH SCENE: CORUSCANT. JEDI COUNCIL- DAY
All 12 Jedis are present in what seems to be a tense meeting. In addition we see 5 or 6 additional Jedi we have never seen before standing on the sidelines. They are Jedi Knights, there to serve the council.
YODA
Always the future in motion is. Now, matters are becoming worse
OPPO RANCISIS (same race as assassinated senators)
These assassinations will not motivate my people to cooperate with humanoids.
KI-ADI-MUNDI
Now with this recent attack on Alderaan, and the expanding conflict in the Senate, outright war is inevitable.

A new trade guild must be behind these assassinations. This gives the smugglers more power to reach outlying systems. There must be someone cooperating with the new race that attacked Alderaan!

There are two allies helping this new race. I believe one is the Sith.

28TH SCENE: SPACE
The Queens ship flies past the screen; on its way to Coruscant. In the cockpit we see Anakin, Ric Olie and Panaka. Anakin gets up to take a break. He walks to the passenger area and has a seat. Padme comes in from the Queens room.
PADME
Tired?
ANAKIN
A little. Everything is fine in the cockpit. I thought I would take a break. How about you?
PADME
Im okay. Im worried abouteverything.
Anakin puts his hand on her shoulder.
PADME
These political games. Its a wonder there isnt a galactic war all the time. The galaxy has just become too big.its impossible to keep everyone happy.
ANAKIN
The universe is full of hate. No one can control his or her fear. Slavery, racism, crooked politicians the Jedi cant control everything. You have to put your trust in people sometimes.
PADME
I wish we could just make it all work out. Unfortunately, its going to take years of hard work to happen.
ANAKIN
Things will work out, Padme. Trust in the force.
PADME
I will, Jedi Skywalker.
Padme puts her hand on Anakins shoulder.
29TH SCENECORUSCANT LANDING PLATFORM-DAY
The Queens ship lands amidst the heavy traffic of Coruscant.
30TH SCENEHALLWAY OUTSIDE JEDI COUNCIL
Obi-Wan and Anakin are rushing to get to the Jedi Council. Unfortunately as they walk in, they realize it has been adjourned.
OBI-WAN
Ill go look for Master Yoda. I’ll meet you in the hallway.
ANAKIN
Yes, Master.
Obi-Wan vanishes around the corner while Anakin returns back to the hallway outside the Council room. Behind him, we see President Palpatine observing him.
PALPATINE
It must be hard.
Anakin turns around, surprised.
ANAKIN
President Palpatine! Sir, I did not hear you.
PALPATINE
Im sorry, Anakin. An old Jedi taught me that trick. How to make a surprise approach can sometimes be helpful in the world of politics. Anyway, I was saying it must be hard for you.
ANAKIN
How do you mean?
PALPATINE (shrugs)
It must be hard to not have the luxury of questioning your teachers advice and council.
ANAKIN
I follow my master, sir. I am his apprentice.
PALPATINE
And you have done well, young Skywalker, but has the Jedi council helped you rescue your mother from slavery? Hmm? They are quite strong-It shouldnt be too hard for even 2 Jedi to rescue 1 slave from the middle of nowhere, let alone a group of Jedi, now? Dont you think?
ANAKIN
(Seems a little nervous-he’s trying to control himself)
Idont know, President Palpatine.
PALPATINE
Hmmm Maybe Im wrong. You are an excellent Jedi, Anakin. You will serve well. (Puts his hand on Anakin's shoulder). Good night, my son.
ANAKIN
Good night, Sir.
Palpatine starts to walks away and smiles a little at Anakin. Anakin hesitates then motions toward the Senator:

Could you free my mother, sir? You are the leader of the Senate. You could free her.
PALPATINE
(Pauses, looks down, then looks Anakin in the eyes)
HmmmLet me see what I can do, Anakin. Maybe well go there together and rescue her.
ANAKIN
Thank you, President Palpatine.
PALPATINE
Good night, Jedi Skywalker.
ANAKIN

31ST SCENE JEDI TEMPLE-BALCONY SUNSET
Yoda and Obi-Wan are in the middle of their conversation.

and Mace Windu will head to the Senate and try to resolve these matters

32ND SCENE CORELLIA DAY-CITY STREETS
From high above the main city of Corellia we see rioting begin to take place. Aliens are clashing with humanoids. Crime and racial attacks are now becoming commonplace.
33RD SCENE:EXT- CITY STREETS OF ALDERAAN
Similar protests and crime is happening in some sections of the city.
34TH SCENE: SENATE FLOOR- CORUSCANT
Members of the Jedi Council walk from a walkway into one of the Senate pods that surround the room. There is quite in the chambers for once as the Jedi walk in, but we can hear some members whispering. Mace Windu leads the group, followed by Ki-Adi-Mundi, Oppo Rancisis, Yarael Poof and a couple Jedi knights who were at the last meeting of the Jedi Council. Mace Windu steps in front to address the Senate.
MACE WINDU
There is a new race in the Bpfassh quadrant, the Mandalorians. This race caused the Sith Wars 4000 years ago when the Dark Lord Uric Qel-Droma formed an alliance with the evil warrior Mandalore. They are responsible for the attack on Alderaan, and we believe they are behind the assassinations but they are not working alone. Someone here is also responsible
A different alien Senator rises up from its seat
ALIEN SENATOR#2
You Jedi seem to have all the answers, but you do not! You sit in your palace and look down at all subhuman alien races.
Another really ugly alien Senator now gets up, a little nervous at first, then more headstrong. His face is shaped liked an ass and there are pores and zit like features on his whole body.

You knew about the cloning technology on Alderaan all along and you never shared it with us! It would have cured many of my people of genetic disease!
Even another Alien Senator has the guts now to speak against the Jedi.

Now there is open yells of agreement-they are now heckling the Jedi. The Jedi, who are guardians of peace, cannot use their powers here. Screams against the Jedi continue, mostly from Alien races. One unknown voice yells out

Cries of "Down with the Jedi" begin from mostly alien Senators. Human Senators are trying to yell back at them. Bail Antilles tries to break this up and use his formidable skills as a negotiator.
BAIL ANTILLES
My fellow Senators. This problem is too complex to blame the Jedi. There are many other factors at work here. Aliens are part of this senate just like everyone else-as equals! We should be more worried about who attacked my world at the moment. They now have the cloning technology to use as a military force. The people of Alderaan, more than ever, want to maintain peace with all of you, alien and humanoid!
The Alien Senators yell back en masse, their anger too high over the cloning issue. They group together and march out of the Senate still chanting "DOWN WITH THE JEDI!!!" The Jedi and the human Senators can only look upon this new dilemma with dread.

35TH SCENE: CLONING FACILITY ON CONCORD DAWN.
Camera pans from above as we see the huge cloning facility now on Concord Dawn. The camera flies through the giant machinery as clones are produced en masse. Cloning chambers line the wall as thousands of human size cubicles can be seen with a body in each of them. Several Mandalorian lieutenants are supervising the facilities. When a clone is prepared, it is put into the red Mandalorian battle armour to hide its facial features because all the clones are the same. The camera pans up to a large room overlooking this giant facility and pulls onto the figure of Darth Sidious. A few Mandalorian lieutenants are standing beside him.
LIEUTENANT
Now that we have this technology, my Lord, we can rebuild our race to be strong again. We will never have to live with genetic degradation again. We owe you our undying allegiance.
DARTH SIDIOUS
And I shall have it. Soon we will attack the heart of the Republic and the Jedi! It shall be no more.
LIEUTENANT
My Lord, we have started to build new fighter ships with the improvements you suggested. Our fleet should be ready in a few days.
As he talks, the camera pans to an adjacent huge cargo bay where we see new model Tie-Fighters under construction in a giant cargo bay. Outside the window is a fully completed large Star Destroyer in orbit above the planet.
DARTH SIDIOUS
Excellent.
36TH SCENE: QUEENÃS SHIP EN ROUTE TO ALDERAAN.
Anakin, Obi-Wan, R2D2, the Queen, her handmaidens, and advisors are en route to help defend Alderaan in case there is any conflict due to the cloning issue. Obi- Wan and Anakin walk into her meeting room at the back of her ship.
OBI-WAN
Your Highness, matters are grave. The Assassinations will spark a race war with aliens and humanoids. If this battle centres on Alderaan, we cannot fully defend you.
Anakin looks worried for Padmes safety.
ANAKIN
Padme, you will be in great danger on Alderaan. Please dont be stubborn. This is not our fight.
AMIDALA
What about the Jedi, Anakin?
OBI-WAN
The Jedi are not too popular at the moment.
ANAKIN
The Jedi can take care of themselves on Coruscant.
Padme looks at Obi-Wan and gives him a worried look. R2D2 beeps a sound. Bail Antilles interjects into the conversation.
BAIL ANTILLES
Your Highness, we do not have many weapons. If these Mandalorian warriors attack again I do not know if my son Colton and the airfleet can withstand it.
AMIDALA
Dont worry, Senator. As a result of these escalations, Naboo has been constructing new battle ships to defend ourselves. The Naboo fleet will be at your aid.
Obi- Wan steps in and stares at Antilles.
OBI-WAN
As will the Jedi.
37TH SCENE: QUEENS SHIP-NIGHT-LOUNGE AREA.
Anakin is sitting with his feet up on a chair looking up to the ceiling in thought. There is no one else around. Padme walks in wearing her casual clothes.
PADME
Lost in thought?
Anakin looks at her.
ANAKIN
Just thinking. (He sighs)
PADME
Of your mother?
ANAKIN
I talked to President Palpatine on Coruscant outside the Jedi Council. He said he would help me free her.
PADME
Oh, Annie I wish I wish you could be happy, but you shouldnt put all your hopes in a politician like Palpatine.
ANAKIN (a little upset)
Why not? Hes the President of the Republic! I am almost a Jedi Knight, and still I cant free one person from slavery on a miserable planet like Tatooine. I have given most of my life to service and I have not asked for naught.
PADME
But, Anakin. You mustnt get so upset about it! You have to let go of the past and move forward, and see what you have ahead of you.
ANAKIN
A life of service to the force. I know.
Padme pulls out the necklace Anakin gave to her 10 years ago and holds it in her hand.
PADME
Please stay here, Anakin. I need you here with me now. I need you I love you Anakin
Anakin looks into her eyes and puts his hand on her cheek.
ANAKIN
I love you Queen Padmebut I have to go. Ill return I promise.
He kisses her cheek and leaves the room. He descends to the bottom of the ship and enters the cockpit to the secondary vessel of the Queens larger ship. The ship separates from the larger vessel. Anakin gives one last look to the Queen who he can see through the window of her ship as he takes his own ship into hyperspace. Meanwhile on the Queens ship, Obi-Wan appears behind Padme and puts his hand on her shoulder.
PADME
Hes gone Obi-Wan.
OBI-WAN
I know. I fear I have failed him.
PADME
He wont let go.
They both peer out the ships window, sadly into the void where Anakin departed from. Obi-Wans arm is now around the Queen to comfort her.
38TH SCENE: TATOOINE DAY
Anakins small vessel lands on Tatooine on the outskirts of the city. He exits the craft down the walking platform. He is still dressed in his Jedi robes. He looks around, taking in the view of a planet he has not been to in 10 years.
ANAKIN
All these years
He gets on an Eopie (camel like creature) and makes his way to the slave quarters on Tatooine.
39TH SCENE: MANDALORIAN SHIPYARDS.
We see many ships being completed above the planet Concord Dawn.
40TH SCENE: DARTH SIDIOUS’ QUARTERS OVERLOOKING CARGO HOLD
The Lieutenant approaches Darth Sidious who is sitting in a chair looking out a giant window. In the distance we see Tie-Fighters flying around and construction continuing on the Star Destroyers. Four Mandalorian red guards are at attention at the entrance to Darth Sidious chambers.
LIEUTENANT
My Lord, the fleet is almost completed. We will be ready to depart on your orders.
DARTH SIDIOUS
Excellent. Prepare the fleet. Victory awaits us.
As the Lieutenant leaves, Darth Sidious looks at his hand. A small patch of human flesh on his hand transforms slowly to gray.
41ST SCENE:TATOOINE DAY
Anakin Skywalker enters the town of Mos Espa. It has not changed much in the last 10 years. Numerous aliens of different origins are parading up and down the streets. Suddenly, Anakin comes across a figure he recognizes, his childhood friend, Kitster.
ANAKIN
Kitster is that you?
Kitster pulls out his gun, surprised.
KITSTER
Who are you? Who do you work for?
ANAKIN
Kitster! It Your best friend!
Kitster lowers his gun and hugs Anakin
KITSTER
Anakin Skywalker! The only slave to get off this miserable planet! What are you doing here?
ANAKIN
Im here to find my mother. Im taking her away from here. Have you seen her?
KITSTER
Shes alive, Anakin, but she has grown old. (Pauses) I dont know if Wattos gonna be too happy about this!
ANAKIN
Watto wont have a choice if he wants to live.
KITSTER
Its good to see you, Annie.
ANAKIN
What have you been doing with yourself?
Kitster looks down, trying to avoid the question.
KITSTER
Ifind work here and there you know. Its hard here.
ANAKIN
You a bounty hunter, arent you?
KITSTER (pausing)
Weeeeeeelllya. (Talking faster) Its the only way to gain your freedom, Annie! You either work as a bounty hunter for Jabba the Hutt or you stay a slave your whole life! Greedos working for him too now! You got your freedom, but some of us have had to stay on this rock most of our lives!
ANAKIN
I understand, Kitster. But dont try to notify anyone about me, Ok?
KITSTER
I wont Anakin. Goodbye
ANAKIN
Goodbye, Kitster
Anakin continues to make his way down the main streets of Mos Espa as he sees more and more people celebrating. Many of the revellers do not notice Anakin, a Jedi, as he walks down the street. He sees one familiar shopkeeper and proceeds to talk to her. She is a very elderly old human woman, one whom we have seen before.
ANAKIN
Excuse me. Whats going on here?
JIRA
Oh theyre all celebrating, the lousy ingrates. They renamed the city Mos Eisley after the Republics illustrious President Palpatine you know, the one weve never seen! (She pauses and looks at him, almost seeming to recognize him) You look familiar. Do I know you? Annie…. Annies you!
Anakin does not want to talk to her. He backs away.
ANAKIN
I am sorry, I do not know you.
JIRA
Anakin Skywalker! I knew you when you were a little boy. Everyone! Its Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight! Hes come to rescue me!
Now people in the crowd start to notice. They close in on Anakin and pull at his Jedi robes saying "Rescue me, rescue me" One alien in the corner eyes these events, then runs away heading to a large building. Meanwhile Anakin attempts to get away from the crowd by ducking into the side streets. He gathers his composure and tires to make his way to Wattos junkyard, close to where his mother lives.
42ND SCENE: TATOOINE NIGHT-OUTSIDE JABBA THE HUTTS PALACE
As we see the twin setting suns of Tatooine, an alien runs by the screen. He is obviously in a hurry. The alien from the crowd scene arrives at Jabba the Hutts door where he is immediately let in. Noisily, the main gate lifts to flood the blackness of the long corridor with light from the doors at the front. We can see the silhouetted figure makes his way hurriedly done the corridor. Behind him we can see the star of Tatooine outside the large gate. He makes his way into the Throne Room, filled with the most grotesque creature in the universe. Light shafts partially illuminate the drunken ensemble of aliens as Bib Fortuna crosses the room to the platform upon which rests the leader of this crowd-Jabba the Hutt. Beside Jabba are his familiar entourage, the bounty hunter Aurra Sing, Greedo, Bib Fortuna-Jabbas assistant, and Salacious Crumb. Gardulla the Hutt, a fat female Hutt, grotesque in her own rite, is on her own platform beside Jabba. The camera pans along the faces of this motley gang of aliens, criminals, and gangsters. The alien steps in front of Jabba and bows before him. Jabba rustles, his fat stomach gurgling, as he seems to be waking up.
ALIEN SPY

(There is a Jedi in the city!)
There are some yelps in the room from all the aliens. Members of Jabbas band put their hands up in astonishment.
JABBA THE HUTT
Da shudda! Geruda das pooda! Godoa sume thin
(Kill him! You lousy bounty hunters! Go do something!)
Aurra Sing, Greedo, and the other bounty hunters in the room immediately leave, almost scurrying from the orders of the vile gangster. Close-up of Salacious Crumb resting at the foot of the dais as we see it laugh at the oncoming fate of the Jedi in town.
43RD SCENE: TATOOINE DAY-MAIN SLAVE CONTROL BUILDING
Match dissolve to; we see the main slave control building as the camera pans inside. A few guards are monitoring some screens with moving dots on them. These moving dots are slave movements. The chip that is put into every slaves body monitors their whereabouts at all times. This is the main security building that monitors every slave that tries to escape. One of the guards at the desk sees a bleep on the screen and motions to his boss.
ALIEN GUARD
We have another one sir! Escape in progress in sector 5A6!
ALIEN GUARD BOSS
You know what to do. Zap them!
The guard presses a button that obviously kills the slave through the slaveship
In their body. The blip on the screen disappears. Close up on the boss face
ALIEN GUARD BOSS
No one escapes slavery.
44TH SCENE: TATOOINE MORNING-SLAVE QUARTERS
Anakin is travelling in stealth through the slave quarters on Tatooine attempting to make his way to his old home. He is walking quickly, eager to see his mother. He turns numerous corners and then all of a sudden, comes to the door of his mothers quarters. He takes breath then rushes in.
ANAKIN
Mom? Mom!
His mother is nowhere to be found. Fearing that she has passed away he makes his way through the dining room to his old room.
ANAKIN
Shes alive. I know she is
In his old room, Anakin finds C3PO standing in the corner, obviously with his power off. C3POs top half now has coverings. Unfortunately, his bottom half is not yet completed. Anakin looks around the room, taking it in. He moves toward the old droid, and flicks the switch on the side of him.
C3PO
Hello, I am C3PO, Human Cyborg Relations. How might I serve you(he pauses and sees Anakin) Oh.Oh! Oh my! Master Anakin is that you?
Anakin smiles, happy to see his old friend.
ANAKIN
Its me 3PO. Where is mom?
Anakin seems anxious.
C3PO
I do not know, Master Anakin. I am afraid I have been turned off for some time. I do not know for how long.
ANAKIN
Well, is she? Alive? When is the last time you saw her?
C3PO
It has been some time, Master Anakin
ANAKIN
Cmon! We have to find her! I know shes alive!
Anakin grabs at the old droid, and makes his way out of the quarters. Anakin and C3PO make their way outside the quarters and start to look around the area. Just outside Anakin comes upon Watto. They eye each other for a second as Watto begins to recognize Anakin. Anakin looks Watto in the eye with a mean face. He is controlling his anger. Watto is about to say something, when Anakin cuts him off.
ANAKIN
Im taking my mother away from here and theres nothing you can do about it.
WATTO
Oh, yeah? I
Anakin immediately pulls out his lightsaber and puts it up to Watttos face.
ANAKIN
Im sorry. Were you going to say something?
Sweat comes from the aliens brow.
WATTO
Uhhh‚ nothing‚..nothing. Take her boy. She has outlived her usefulness.
Anakin starts to pass by when he suddenly cuts off Wattos wings! The fat creature falls to the ground, unable to use his legs!
WATTO
You cut off my wings, you, you!
Anakin and C3PO start to walk quickly away when just as they go round a corner they come upon the bounty hunters!
45TH SCENE: ALDERAAN DOCKING BAY
Queen Amidalas ship enters the Alderanian atmosphere and lands. The Queen, Bail and Wedge Antilles, Obi-Wan, R2D2 and their respective advisors make their way into the battle room in the main castle. As they enter the room, a lieutenant stands to meet them.
LIEUTENANT
Senator Antilles! The Naboo fleet and Beta Squadron are on alert and ready. We have word that a giant armada of Mandalorian ships is en route!
Antilles and Padme look at each other with a worried expression.
PADME
Then we shall be ready for them.
46TH SCENE: TATOOINE SLAVE QUARTERS DAY
With lightsaber in hand, Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight confronts the 7 bounty hunters. Anakin leaps over them as they try to fire their blasters, hopelessly missing him. As he returns to the ground Anakin slices one of the bounty hunters in two. Meanwhile, numerous other slaves have noticed the commotion on their streets. They are gathering around the battle as they watch the brave Jedi defend himself against the 6 remaining bounty hunters. Anakins lightsaber easily defends him against the blaster shots from the bounty hunters. He successfully strikes off the arm of another hunter, leaving only 5 left! Greedo and the other hunters take cover behind a building, hoping the Jedis lightsaber cannot reach them there. Aurra Sing has retreated to another hidden area, waiting for the right moment. Anakin also takes cover. The 4 hunters are trying to blast through the rock that Anakin is behind. Anakin looks around for some weapon to attack the hunters with. Then he suddenly looks down at his lightsaber.
ANAKIN
Trust in the force
As Anakin realizes what he has to do, his mother comes around the corner from one of the buildings carrying a basket. She was at work this day. She and Anakin catch each others eyes. She drops the basket.
SHMI SKYWALKER
Anakin! Is that you?
She starts to run toward him when all of a sudden a blaster shot from Aurra Sing accidentally catches her in the back. As Anakin runs toward her, she falls into his arms.
ANAKIN
No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anakin pulls her to safety around a corner and sits her down, leaning on the buildings side.
SHMI SKYWALKER
Oh, Anakinyou came back. (Looks at his wardrobe) you are a Jedi. Im so proud of you
From behind the building we see Greedo recognize that it is Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight! Greedo mumbles something to the last 2 bounty hunters, and then runs away. As Shmi talks to Anakin, blaster fire from the remaining hunter ensues. Anakin takes care of it.
ANAKIN
Wait here, mom. Ill get you a doctor.
Anakin rushes around the corner, his face all sweaty. He holds his lightsaber up high and flings it in the air like javelin. The lightsaber carries and turns in the air. The lightsaber starts to sway as we see Aurra Sing use the force and try to deflect the blade away from her comrades. Anakin concentrates as we see the sweat from his brow. The lightsaber flies around the building and strikes down the last bounty hunters in surprise. Aurra Sing, the last and strongest bounty hunter comes out to meet Anakin. She is holding a lightsaber handle! Anakin sees her and moves up to her.
AURRA SING
I have killed six Jedi, boy. I have the power of the force to use for my own means!
ANAKIN
It wont help you.
Anakin calls his lightsaber to him and ignites it. Aurra Sing ignites her own blade. Anakin runs up the side of a building, and flips over backward to strike his first blow! Aurra Sing is taken by surprise. Her lightsaber flies away from her hand.
ANAKIN
Leave or die. The choice is yours.
Aurra Sing calls her lightsaber to her!
AURRA SING
I dont think so, boy.
Aurra Sing strikes at Anakin, who defends himself. The two fighters continue to strike at each other. Both fighters are excellent lightsaber warriors. Anakin looks at her. He is impatient to end the battle. With this distraction, Aurra Sing gets a little advantage and cuts him at his shoulder. Even though the cut is small, Anakin screams.
ANAKIN
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!
AURRA SING
Prepare to meet your death, young Jedi!
ANAKIN
NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anakin fights with more intensity and continually attacks Aurra Sing. He strikes again and again, until he cuts off her hand. He looks at his mother, who is close to death and runs to her. Aurra Sing uses this to make her getaway. With the threat now taken care of Anakin returns to his mothers side. She is dying.
ANAKIN
Mom dont die. I came here to rescue you.
SHMI
Anakin, you must remember. I am proud of you, you must let me go. Forget the‚past‚Anakin. I love you.
Shmi Skywalker now lies dead in Anakins arms. Her body disappears into nothingness. The city around is in chaos due to this activity. Due to all the blaster fire, some buildings have caught fire; including the slave security building which controls the microchips in all the slaves. Anakin is crying over his mothers body when he looks around to see what is going on. He looks to the sky and thinks of his mothers words. Anakin runs to the slave building and rushes in with his lightsaber charging. He kills the main guards and he destroys the equipment holding the slaves on Tatooine. As the equipment blows up, Anakin dashes out of the building just before it completely blows up. As he regains his composure on the street, Anakin motions to C3PO:
ANAKIN
3PO, lets get out of here! Cmon!
C3PO
Oh my goodness! Master Anakin, save me!
Anakin hurriedly grabs C3PO and jumps onto an Eopie beast and rides away with C3PO on the seat behind him. As he looks back, Anakin grimaces:
ANAKIN
I swear Ill never step foot on this miserable planet again!
Behind him, slaves are scrambling around, grabbing their belongings, and running for their freedom. The city is on fire!
47TH SCENE: JABBAS PALACE
Jabba watches as the slave quarters are on fire, and many slaves are running for their freedom! He smacks Bib Fortuna in the chest.
JABBA THE HUTT
Aarrrrgh! Da wunga der poopa! Getha Jedi!
(Argh! Get me something to eat! Get the Jedi!)
The alien musicians in the band scream and put up their hands in fear. Salacious Crumb laughs.
48TH SCENE: TATOOINE DOCKING BAY
Aurra Sing moves toward her ship and boards her. Her arm has a small metal bandage covering where her hand used to be. The camera pulls onto her face as she grins with hate. She boards her ship and takes off into the Tatooine night.
49TH SCENE: ABOVE THE PLANET CONCORD DAWN
Hundreds of Tie-Fighter ships, 2 large Star Destroyers assemble and make their way to Alderaan! The camera pans into the large Destroyer at the front of the massive armada of ships. Through the window the camera pulls onto the face of Darth Sidious. The Dark Lord pulls down his robe covering his face to reveal his true identity-President Palpatine! His face looks different, as there are spots of gray skin growing on his face and hands. The Dark side is consuming him!
PALPATINE
Assemble the fleet! We will destroy the Jedi!
The Lieutenants, scared in submission quickly obey their master. Boba Fett is the only man standing still and emotionless on the great command deck of the large vessel. The Lieutenant shouts to his commanders.
LIEUTENANT
Engage! Set coordinates 34 Mark 5 Delta!
The camera cuts to Palpatines face as he grins.
50TH SCENE: TATOOINE NIGHT
Anakin arrives at his ship parked in the outskirts of Mos Eisley with 3CPO and enters his cockpit. From the distance, Anakin can still see the fire taking over the slave quarters in Mos Eisley. We see one starship full of slaves as it tries to take off suddenly plummet and land sideways into the sand, right beside the cantina!
ANAKIN
Tie yourself in the back there 3PO! We have to return to Alderaan as soon as possible!
C3PO
Yes, Master Anakin. Oh my!
C3PO dashes to his seat as the craft takes off into the Tatooine atmosphere en route to Alderaan!
51ST SCENE: IN ORBIT ABOVE THE PLANET ALDERAAN
High in orbit above the planet Alderaan we see the giant fleet of ships preparing to defend itself against the Mandalorian fleet. Several X-Wing style ships and other various vessels are circling some of the other large vessels in anticipation of the coming battle.
52ND SCENE: ALDERAAN CONTROL CENTER
We see Antilles, Padme and many soldiers scrambling around as information is coming in on the attack fleet.
CAPTAIN PANAKA
Your Highness, the computer shows 1400 ships en route from Concord Dawn!
BAIL ANTILLES
My God! They must have cloned an entire army already.
AMIDALA
We will be victorious, General. We now have the support of the full fleet from Chandrila, Mon Calamari and Kashyyyk. Allow me to present their leaders, Senator Mon Mothma, General Ackbar and the Wookie representative, Boshbacca!
Three figures come to meet General Antilles, a human female, a squid type person, and a large Wookie with some white hair. The first two are much younger than we have previously seen them.
MON MOTHMA
It is an honour to stand with you, General Antilles. The Chandrilian fleet will fight hard to defend your peaceful planet.
ANTILLES
Thank you-all of you. We can only pray we will win the day.
The Wookie growls. Amidala leans over to Obi-Wan
AMIDALA
Is Anakin ok? Im worried.
OBI-WAN
He is all right your Highness that I am sure. I am more concerned about his anger. It is a troubling time for him he could be easily seduced by his anger.
AMIDALA
Then we must pray for his safe return.
53RD SCENE: CORUSCANT BALCONY NIGHT
Evan Piell, Jedi Master is walking on a balcony of one of the higher buildings on Coruscant. Suddenly, 4 Mandalorian warriors with double edged spears appears in front of him, ready in battle position.
EVAN PIELL
I am ready for you dark warriors. The force is my ally. Its light illuminates me.
The small Jedi extends his lightsaber and stands ready to face the Mandalorian attack. The warriors surround him on all sides and strike with their spears! The little Jedi blocks each blow like a skilled warrior, but we see the sweat on his brow. He is fighting a formidable opponent, one whose weapons can withstand the blow from a lightsaber! The Mandalorians continue to attack the Jedi, each seeming to almost strike the deathblow to the little warrior! Suddenly, one Mandalorian gets his spears under his legs and trips the Jedi as another deals the deathblow with his spear into the Jedis chest! As the Jedi lies dying he expounds one last sentence under his breath:
EVAN PIELL
Your anger will destroy you dark warriors!
The Jedi is dead.
54TH SCENE: ALDERAAN ATMOSPHERE
As the camera pans past the Alderanian fleet it pulls outward to reveal the arriving Mandalorian armada, nearly twice its size! The giant armada moves slowly like a giant beast moving in for the kill as some of the smaller Tie Fighters move ahead, anxious to combat their prey.
55TH SCENE: ALDERAAN WAR ROOM-CLOSE-UP OBI-WANS FACE
OBI-WAN
And in the time of greatest despair there shall come a saviour,
the Son of the Suns.
Antilles looks over at him puzzled. Obi-Wan sees his confusion and responds.
OBI-WAN
This battle. These Clone Wars. The Son of the Suns will decide our fate. A Jedi will save this day.
ANTILLES
Then let us get to our ships, Obi-Wan, and save this day.
Amidala is shocked.
AMIDALA
You cant both fight. General we need you here to coordinate the attack!
ANTILLES
It will be all right, your Highness. My governor is more skilled at war tactics than am I. My skill lies in the air, with my son and Rogue Squadron.
OBI-WAN
Dont worry, your Highness. The Jedi ships are here as well. The Force will guide the battle.
As Obi-wan speaks, the camera pans out the window to reveal the Jedi ships. Dozens of sleek fighters fly above the Alderanian city. The camera pulls onto one of these crafts-the Millennium Falcon, and onto her pilot, Jedi Master and Corillian citizen, Adi Gallia! The craft is sleek and new and shines in the glow of the sun on Alderaan!
56TH SCENE: MILLENIUM FALCON COCKPIT.
Inside the cockpit we see Captain Pilot Adi Gallia and a few Jedi Knights behind her. They are not touching any controls though. Instead we see them all focused on the force, guiding their ship through mind control!
ADI GALLIA
Millennium Falcon to Alderaan home base. The Jedi are here and at your assistance.
57TH SCENE: ANOTHER JEDI SHIP
We see Yoda and Master Windu sharing pilot duties on a ship.
58TH SCENE: ANOTHER JEDI SHIP
We see Ki-Adi-Mundi with some Jedi Knights in another vessel.
59TH SCENE: ALDERAAN WAR ROOM
OBI-WAN (smiles)
It is good to hear you, Master Adi.
60TH SCENE: SPACE.
A large part of the Mandalorian fleet is breaking off from the main section and making its way to Alderaan! The camera pulls onto the Lieutenant at the front window of the largest Star Destroyer.
LIEUTENANT
We must capture their energy resources to perfect the Cloning technology! Attack the surface and destroy their resistance!
The giant armada enters Alderaans orbit and lands on a giant open field.
61ST SCENE: ALDERAAN SHIP CARGO HOLD
We see General Antilles, his son Colton, and numerous other pilots running to their ships and taking off. Bail looks at his son before he enters his cockpit.
BAIL ANTILLES
May the force be with you, son.
COLTON ANTILLES
May it be with us all, father.
They give each other a final look as they enter their cockpits and fly to intercept the Mandalorian force.
62ND SCENE: MILLENIUM FALCON.
Several Jedi have noticed the large fleet, which has landed on Alderaan. Adi Gallia signals to the rest of the Jedi fleet.
ADI GALLIA
We have to intercept those warriors. Land at sector 2328.
63RD SCENE: ALDERAAN SHIP CARGO HOLD
Just as Obi-Wan turns on the engines of his ship, he hears Adis message. He engages his engines and flies out of the bay to land near several other Jedi ships on a wide open area of green land.
64. CUT TO-SPACE BATTLE
The Clone Wars have begun! Hundreds of Mandalorian Tie-Fighters are engaging the fleet of Alderaan, Naboo, Chandrila and Mon Calamari! The camera pulls onto one of the larger Chandrilian vessels, where we see Mon Mothma leading the charge.
MON MOTHMA
Get those ships to sector 54A6! We have to flank that section and get to that Star Destroyer!
A pilot acknowledges her com.
65TH SCENE: MON CALAMARI VESSEL.
A Young General Ackbar is commanding a smaller vessel from his home planet. Behind him are several people of his race at their posts.
GENERAL ACKBAR
Follow the Chandrilian fleet! Mon Mothma is going for that Star Destroyer!
Suddenly numerous Corillian X-Wing ships come out of hyperspace and join the resistance! They fire on the Star Destroyer. Inside one of the larger ships, Garm Bel Iblis and Eaal E Solo signal on the comlink.

You guys need any help?
Mon Mothma hears the transmission and is in shock.
MON MOTHMA
Garm Iblis? I thought you were opposed to Alderaan!
GARM BEL IBLIS
Just an act Senator. I trade with a lot of pro-Alien Senators. Wouldnt help the spice trade if I stood against them!
MON MOTHMA
Well, were happy youre on our side!
EAAL E SOLO
Well do what we can Senator!
66TH SCENE: ALDERAAN PLANET. OPEN FIELD
Thousands of Mandalorian warriors have exited their crafts and now stand at attention in row upon row. Hundreds of feet across the large field we see hundreds of Jedi Knights also standing at attention. Above these incredible forces we see ships from both sides locked in combat! The camera pans onto Mace Windus face. He looks a little worried.
67TH SCENE: ALDERAAN WAR ROOM.
Padme, her advisors, and the Alderanian generals are monitoring the battle. Captain Panaka moves into position beside Amidala.
PANAKA
With the X-Wing squadron from Corellia, we should have a better advantage, your Highness.
AMIDALA
Yes, but we still need more ships. You should get to your ship, Captain.
PANAKA
My place is here with you, your Highness.
She acknowledges him.
68TH SCENE: ALDERAAN OPEN FIELD
The giant forces of Mandalorian warriors eyes the smaller contingent of Jedi Knights across the wide-open plain. The camera pulls onto Mace Windu, who is at the front of the Jedi forces. Yoda, Obi-Wan, and many other council members stand beside him.
MACE WINDU
Let us join together, Jedi. Let us unite together in the Force!
Hundreds of Jedi simultaneously kneel down and bow their heads. The camera pulls through the Jedi as we see their faces in humble stance and contemplation before this great battle. The camera pulls over to the Mandalorian force, their faces emotionless through their red helmets and body armour. They simultaneously pull out their double-edged spears and maintain a battle stance.
69TH SCENE: JEDI FORCES-ALDERAAN
The camera pulls on to Mace Windu and Obi-Wan as they both light their lightsabers. Behind them, hundreds of lightsabers simultaneously ignite in the hands of hundreds of Jedi Knights. Hundreds of races are represented in the Jedi army, from alien to beast animals, to large 20 feet high humanoids. Mace Windu puts his hand on Obi-Wan’s shoulder
MACE WINDU
May the force be with you, Obi-Wan.
Behind him, all the Jedi Knights are putting their hands on each otherÃs shoulders "May the force be with you" in one huge voice. The camera pulls onto Yoda at the front of the Jedi army.
YODA
May the force be with us all.
With those words, thousands of Mandalorian warriors rush in bloodlust to meet the Jedi on the field. The Jedi slowly walk, emotionless and united in peace to the centre of the great field to meet the Mandalorians. They meet in the centre as the war begins!
70TH SCENE: SPACE BATTLE
A Tie-Fighter blows up on screen as Wedge Antilles ship flies through the explosion!
COLTON ANTILLES
Pull it up, Beta Squadron! Beta 6, try to get around that Star Destroyer! Well follow your lead!
BETA SIX
Roger, beta leader!
The squadron and the Corillian X-Wing ships circle around the Destroyer and fire at its hull.
71ST SCENE: ALDERAAN CASTLE.
Boba Fett and several Mandalorian warrior clones have landed on the planet and make their way into the castle, killing the guards in their way. They fight their way through several rooms and come to the entrance of the war room! Boba Fett places explosive on the door as the others hide around the corner. The entrance blows up and they enter guns a blazing! The camera pulls onto Amidala and her guards, who are all caught by surprise. A few of them are killed instantly from the surprise attack. They pull out their blasters and take shelter behind the columns of the room.
CAPTAIN PANAKA
Your Highness, we have to get out of here!
AMIDALA
The entrance is blocked, Captain! Stand your ground!
72ND SCENE: ALDERAAN BATTLE FIELD
Obi-wan and the Jedi Knights are locked into a ferocious battle! The Mandalorians are holding strong as their spears can withstand the blow from a lightsaber! We pull onto a Jedi Knight who is being attacked by four Mandalorians who surround him. One warrior distracts him by a false attack while the other plunges his spear into his back! The Jedi is dead. His body disappears on the field. Ki-Adi-Mundi sees his fallen comrade and races to attack the four Mandalorians. He strikes down two instantaneously with his lightsaber and rises to meet the third.
73RD SCENE: STAR DESTROYER COMMAND ROOM
Palpatines skin is getting greyer each second. His smile shows his pleasure as he watches the Jedi battle on the planet
PALPATINE
Thats it! Kill the jedi! Destroy them!
74TH SCENE: STAR DESTROYER DOCKING BAY
Aurra Sings ship makes its way into the Star Destroyers cargo bay. She gets off her ship and goes to meet her Master.
75TH SCENE: SPACE-EN ROUTE TO ALDERAAN
We see Anakins ship en route to Alderaan as it flies past the screen. C3PO motions to Anakin.
C3PO
Master Anakin! What is that giant armada of ships on the computer screen?
ANAKIN
Alderaan is under attack, 3PO! Get in your seat! Were almost there!
C3PO
But Master Anakin, your shoulder is still damaged!
ANAKIN
Ill be all right 3PO! Right now, we have to get to Alderaan as soon as possible!!
Anakins ship races through hyperspace to join the battle
76. CUT TO-INT-ALDERAAN WAR ROOM
Padme and her guards are feverously defending themselves against Boba Fett and the Mandalorians! Blaster fire crosses the room as each side tries to eliminate its opponent. Padme and her guards are trapped to one side of the room and cannot escape until the Mandalorians are killed!
77TH SCENE: SPACE BATTLE ABOVE ALDERAAN
The battle is not going too well. Numerous Alderraan ships have been destroyed. Mon Mothma’ force of Chandrilian ships is also baring much of the damage from the Mandalore ships.
MON MOTHMA
Get those ships around that Destroyers hull! Its the only way to destroy it!
General Ackbar signals her on the comlink.
GENERAL ACKBAR
Mon Mothma! A secure tight attack on that ships hull will only paralyse its subsection! We have to concentrate our fire on its forward shields!
MON MOTHMA
Message received, General! (To her crew) You heard the General! All ships lock your blasters on that ships forward shields! We will win the day!
EAAL E SOLO
Corillian ships! Follow the Chandrilian fleet! Eee-ah!
Eaal E Solos ship swoops around some Tie-Fighters and fires on the Star Destroyer. His ship makes significant damage to the Destroyer. Mon Mothma signals on the comlink
MON MOTHMA
Boy! When you Corillians switch sides you dont fool around!
EAAL E SOLO
This is just the beginning sweetheart!!!!!!
The camera pulls onto Mon Mothmas face. She looks astonished!
78TH SCENE: SPACE BATTLE
Numerous ships from all the allies focus their firepower on the forward section of the large Destroyer. The firepower of all these ships is having little effect. All of a sudden a small craft emerges from hyperspace in front of the Destroyer!
MON MOTHMA
Who is in that ship! They almost got themselves killed from coming out of hyperspace so close to the battle!
The camera pulls onto the cockpit of the ship and shows the pilot to be Anakin Skywalker! Anakin expertly flies his craft under the Destroyer and fires into the large cargo hold under the great vessel! Several small explosions can be seen from Anakins attack! The vessel is starting to lose power.
79TH SCENE: BRIDGE OF MON MOTHMS SHIP
MON MOTHMA
He did it. I dont believe it!
Her crew cheers the Jedi pilot.
80TH SCENE: EAAL E SOLOS SHIP
GARM BEL IBLIS
Who is that kid?
81ST SCENE: STAR DESTROYER BRIDGE
The Lieutenant screams at his officers.
LIEUTENANT
What is going on in that cargo hold?
OFFICER
Our main shields have been hit!
82ND SCENE: SPACE BATTLE
Seeing that the Destroyer is almost destroyed Anakin makes his way to the planet to find Padme. One Destroyer still remains in the battle- the ship carrying Palpatine! Anakins ship enters the atmosphere and lands close to Boba Fetts ships.
C3PO
Master Anakin! Im receiving a signal from the command centre! The Queen is trapped and under attack!
We hear Panakas voice on the comlink as he calls for assistance.
ANAKIN
Then lets get down there!
Anakin races off the landing platform and makes his way to the war room!
83RD SCENE: BATTLE FIELD
More Jedi have fallen, but so too have hundreds of Mandalorian warriors. The camera pans from above over the great battle as we see hundreds of lightsabers swinging and hundreds of spears defending!
MACE WINDU (fighting a warrior)
Maintain your concentration, Obi-Wan.
OBI-WAN
Yes, MasterWindu
Obi-Wan leaps in the air and destroys 3 Mandalorians with one stroke!
84TH SCENE: HALLWAY OUTSIDE ALDERAAN WAR ROOM.
Anakin runs from the entrance to the war room. As he reaches the outside of the room, he sees the Mandalorians who have the princess cornered! Anakin hides behind a pillar to plan out his attack, when C3PO suddenly emerges behind him!
C3PO
Master Anakin! Watch out!
Realizing C3P0 has blown his surprise attack; Anakin runs around the corner, ignites his lightsaber and mows down the Mandalorians! Even though the Mandalorians were not surprised, Anakins speed is too fast for them! While Anakin is destroying these guards, Boba Fett secretly escapes and makes his way to his vessel. Anakin leaps as he continues to single handedly mow down warriors with his lightsaber! The Queen and her guards move up to aid Anakin. They kill a couple guards. One stray blaster shot hits a giant column that starts to fall on the Queen! Anakin sees this and yells out.
ANAKIN
Padme!
Anakin holds out one arm while he is still duelling the Mandalorian with his lightsaber in the other hand. He uses the force to freeze the column in midair while Padme gets out of the way! His skill as a Jedi Knight is strong. The column falls to the ground and smashes as Anakin continues to kill warriors. Within moments, the battle is over! The Queen and her assistants are freed. Padme runs toward Anakin and hugs him while Panaka takes in the battle damage.
CAPTAIN PANAKA
It has been a costly battle.
C3PO comes into the room and greets R2D2.
C3PO
R2D2! You are damaged! (Both droids look at Anakin and Padme) Oh, my! The Queen and Master Anakin seem to be getting along well since last I saw them together!
R2D2 beeps.
C3PO
Well look at what Im stuck with!
R2D2 beeps a high pitch in amazement. We pull onto Padme and Anakin. They have been watching the droids, smiling.
PADME
Anakin, the Jedi are in trouble on the planet! You have to help them!
ANAKIN
Ill take care of it, your Highness.
Anakin starts to make his way to his ship, but Padme cries out.
PADME
Wait! (She runs toward him and kisses him- he is surprised)
A kiss for luck?
Anakin smiles at her and runs off to his ship to fight with his Jedi brothers.
85TH SCENE: ALDERAAN ATMOSPHERE
Low in Alderaans atmosphere, the battle continues! Tie-Fighters and X-Wing ships are locked in combat, shooting at each other and swerving around buildings. The camera pans onto Anakins ship as he is making his way to the battlefield where the Jedi are fighting. Anakin destroys one ship and flies around the explosion. Suddenly, he hears a voice.
PALPATINE
Anakins
Anakin is startled. He looks up and far off in the distance we can see the Star Destroyer Palpatine is on.
ANAKIN
Who?
PALPATINE
It is I you true Master. Come to me, boy. You have grown strong.
ANAKIN
No Who are you?
86TH SCENE: BATTLE FIELD
Obi-Wan senses a disturbance in the force in the midst of battle. He looks up to the sky and calls out to his apprentice.
OBI-WAN
Anakin come to me. Concentrate on my voice.
87TH SCENE: ANAKINS COCKPIT
ANAKIN
Yes, Master.
Anakin swerves around and heads directly for the battle field
88TH SCENE: STAR DESTROYER CARGO BAY
Boba Fetts ship Slave 1 lands in the cargo bay, and he makes his way out of the ship.
89TH SCENE: ALDERAAN WAR ROOM
Padme, her guards, and the remaining Alderaan generals are monitoring the battle.
PANAKA
It does not look good, your Highness.
PADME
The air battle is going well, but I fear the Jedi are way outnumbered.
90TH SCENE: ALDERAAN BATTLE FIELD
Even more Jedi have fallen. There are simply too many clone warriors. In the distance we see 3 Tie-Fighters destroy the last of the Alderaan fighters that are here. The Tie-Fighters make their way directly to the Jedi section of the field. They are going to bomb them! Suddenly, Anakins ship comes into view! He heads for the Tie-Fighters and destroys two of them in a single shot. A second later he destroys the 3rd one. Pt of view of the Mandalorian warriors. The debris from the 3 Tie-Fighters is heading straight for them! Anakin looks out the side of his cockpit as the 3 ships land directly into the giant Mandalorian army and blows up! The army is destroyed! Anakin flies 15 feet above the Jedi force. The Jedi all raise their lightsabers to his ship and cheer him! The remaining Mandalorians run away or are taken care of by the Jedi.
91ST SCENE: STAR DESTROYER DECK.
Palpatine sees this loss from above and decides to retreat his troops. In the background we see Aurra Sing take her place beside Palpatine.
PALPATINE
Retreat your troops, Lieutenant. We shall return
The Star Destroyer turns around and retreats. The remaining Tie-Fighters follow.
92ND SCENE: ALDERAAN BATTLE FIELD
Anakin lands his ship on the field and exits the cockpit to meet the Jedi who surround the ship and cheer for him. Obi-Wan greets him.
ANAKIN
I am sorry I left Master. It was wrong of me to go to Tatooine.
OBI-WAN
Yes it was, but you have done well today, young Padawan.
The Jedis cheer as we see Padme and her security running toward Anakin. Padme reaches him and they kiss.
PADME
Anakin, you did it!
Anakin gets on his knees in front of Padme. We see the Jedi standing around, proud of their Jedi brother
ANAKIN
Queen Amidala, will you marry me?
Padme smiles.
PADME
Yes, Jedi Anakin.
They kiss. The Jedi cheer.
PANAKA
The union between the Jedi and the Nobles is at hand!
More cheers. Yoda, Mace Windu, and Obi-Wan stand side by side as they look proudly onto these events.
93RD SCENE: NABOO-DAY -OUTSIDE A GIANT TEMPLE
A parade flows through thousands of humanoids and Aliens lining the streets of Naboo. The parade ends at a giant temple half a mile high. Anakin and Padme emerge from the carriage and make their way up the steps of the giant temple. Anakin is wearing a majestic cloak while Padme wears a very ornate golden dress. They make their way into the temple which is packed with thousands of soldiers from Alderaan, Naboo, Chandrila, Corellia, and Mon Calamari. Members of the Jedi council, Mon Mothma, Ackbar, Garm Bel Iblis, Eaal E Solo, Antilles and his son Colton are near the front. R2D2 and a fully complete C3PO also stand near the front, both looking new! Beside them, Jar Jar, Boss Nass and some Gungans also stand. Anakin and Padme make their way the front of the temple where a Noble Queen conducts the service.
NOBLE QUEEN
Citizens of Alderaan, hear me! We are gathered today to form the union between Jedi and Noble
94TH SCENE: CONCORD DAWN CLONING CHAMBER/FACILITY
Hundreds of clones are coming off the assembly line. Their body armour has completely changed. The machines also look like they have been updated. The camera pulls onto the face of the Lieutenant
LIEUTENANT
Now that we have the resources from our attack on Alderaan we can build even stronger clones for our army. The fools we took what we needed from under their nose and they didnt even realize it!
SECOND LIEUTENANT
And will we attack Alderaan again, sir?
LIEUTENANT
Yes. Our Lord has commanded it
The camera pulls onto the clones as they are fitted with new body armour.
95TH SCENE: ALDERAAN DAY WEDDING SERVICE
The wedding service has concluded. Anakin and Padme Skywalker turn around and are applauded by the thousands of onlookers. Mon Mothma makes her way to talk to Garm Bel Iblis, General Ackbar and Bail Antilles.
MON MOTHMA
I am happy you have helped us, Garm. The Corillian force made the difference.
GARM BEL IBLIS
It doesnt pay too well to be in the resistance but I am glad we made a difference.
BAIL ANTILLES
It is good to see there is more to the Corillians than Spice smuggling! I think its important we form this Alliance to stand against these Mandalorians in the future.
GENERAL ACKBAR
We must stand together in the Senate. Corruption is everywhere. Our Alliance, along with now General Kenobi and the Jedi, will bring honesty back to the government.
MON MOTHMA
I hope so, General Ackbar.
President Palpatine, now looking normal goes to congratulate Anakin. No one knows his real identity.
PALPATINE
Congratulations, my son. You have done well.
Anakin smiles at Palpatine.
ANAKIN
Thank you, sire.
PALPATINE
I am sorry to hear of your mother. (Anakin looks down) Why dont you come to Coruscant? There is much you can learn under my tutelage.
ANAKIN
Thank you, President Palpatine. I would like that very much
PALPATINE
Excellent.
Palpatine looks over and sees Obi-Wan making his way over. Palpatine secretly ducks away and leaves.
OBI-WAN
Who was here? I sense something dark.
ANAKIN (covers up)
Uh no one. I think it was one of those smelly aliens- (say race)
Obi-Wan looks Anakin in the eyes.
96TH SCENE: CORUSCANT SENATE FLOOR.
The camera follows Palpatine into the Senate. He is wearing a black robe now and looks very serious. His royal blue guards follow behind him. Everyone looks fearful of him.
PALPATINE
Because of these recent attacks, it would be wise for the Republic to clone its own soldiers to combat these Mandalorians. The time for debate is over! (He looks around the room, looking for any opposition-he doesnt get any. The Senate is almost half empty). It is thus decreed. Soldiers for the Republic will be constructed as soon as possible!
Palpatine storms out of the Senate. The entire group of alien Senators cowers as he walks by. None of the Senators from the Alderaan Alliance are present.
97TH SCENE: REPUBLIC CLONING FACILITY.
Palpatine walks into a great huge cloning facility. Aurra Sing and Boba Fett accompany him. Aurra Sing now has a new metal hand. He is wearing the same black cloak as the last scene. He walks up to a few human generals wearing green military uniforms that we have seen before. (In ANH)
LIEUTENANT TARKIN
Welcome to the Republic Cloning Facility, Emperor Palpatine.
PALPATINE
Hmmm,Are the clones ready?
TARKIN
We have successfully completed 20,000 clones. They will be outfitted with the new body armour you suggested. We have also studied the Mandalorian dungeons you pointed out. They were useful during there Sith war to contain force users. They will assist us in destroying the Jedi!
PALPATINE
Good. (Pauses) Grand Moff Tarkin you have done well.
The camera pans onto the clones as they are being constructed. They all wear white body armour the armour of Imperial Stormtroopers!
